Communications and content strategy expert Weld Royal joins RooneyPartners
New York, N.Y. – March 13, 2023 – RooneyPartners, a New York-based integrated marketing and communications agency, today announced that Weld Royal has joined as a Senior Director. Ms. Royal brings more than 20 years of experience managing digital communications and content marketing for large organizations, with a focus on executive thought leadership and digital strategy designed to support corporate growth initiatives.
With extensive experience in both the finance and technology sectors, Ms. Royal led content strategy for the NYSE equities trading and listings businesses, operating in a regulated and politically sensitive environment. At DailyFX, the research arm of London brokerage IG, she created the communications strategy and led global content teams to reach organic search leadership in topics about macroeconomics, foreign exchange, and women in finance. At Panasonic North America, she built a content center of excellence centered on SEO, email marketing, and digital experiences focused on solar power, electric vehicles, and smart cities.
Ms. Royal serves on the board of the Women’s Center for Entrepreneurship, a nonprofit organization that empowers women to invest in themselves via entrepreneurship. She holds a Master’s Degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Lehigh University.
