New York, N.Y. – February 7, 2019 — Terry Rooney, Founder and CEO of RooneyPartners, a boutique communications agency, today announced three senior level promotions. Kate Barrette and Bob Cavosi have been promoted to Managing Director, and Ahmet Reisli to Senior Associate.

Barrette, who joined RooneyPartners in 2013, specializes in media relations, working closely with clients across sectors including asset management, financial advisory, biotech and healthcare, in addition to supporting the firm’s new business development efforts. Prior tojoining RooneyPartners, Barrette was a Senior Vice President at Ben-Abraham Associates, a boutique public relations firm. She began her career as a journalist at the The Globe and Mail in Toronto. Barrette received her Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from the University of Toronto and her journalism degree from Ryerson University.
Cavosi, who joined the firm in 2015 and specializes in media relations and content strategy and development, manages the day-to-day work for several of the firm’s clients, and has taken an active role in helping drive the firm’s new business efforts. Over the course of his career, Cavosi has worked with large global brands on both the agency and corporate sides, including Ogilvy PR, Fleishman-Hillard, J.P. Morgan Chase, Key Bank, and Pearson, among others. His extensive media relations experience is complemented by his in-depth capital markets expertise, working with companies in managing their reputation across many key audience sets.
Reisli, who began his career at RooneyPartners in 2015, helps support the firm’s rapidly growing digital and social media practice area. He is responsible for helping execute digital, SEO, and website strategy and development for a wide range of RooneyPartners clients, in various industry sectors. Reisli is Google Ads certified and holds a master’s degree in branding and integrated communications at the City University of New York, with a specialization in public relations.
