Over the past 20 years, Weld has held senior corporate communications and content roles developing strategy and teams for global brands including Panasonic NA, the NYSE, and Northwestern Mutual. Most recently, Weld built the communications strategy and led global content teams for DailyFX, the digital publishing arm of IG Group, a retail trading platform based in London.

Weld started out as a journalist and her work has appeared on NPR affiliate KTOO, in the New York Times, Money, Marketplace on American Public Media, and Chief Executive magazine, where she served as managing editor. She received her master’s degree from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism and her bachelor’s from Lehigh University.
