Before entering public relations, Kate was a journalist. She wrote and edited for Canadian national newspaper The Globe and Mail, Czech Radio International, Deutsche Welle International and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. She received her Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from the University of Toronto and her journalism degree from Ryerson University.
