Prior to her work in communications and public relations, Paula was a four-time Emmy Award-winning senior investigative TV journalist. Her reporting has driven measurable impact, including influencing legislation, prompting policy changes, and shifting how leaders approach critical issues. She was honored as Citizen of the Year by the Kentucky Nurses Association, becoming the first journalist to receive the recognition for her work elevating the voice of the nursing profession.

Paula previously led communications for TEDxStLouis, where she developed and executed thought leadership initiatives that significantly expanded audience reach and positioned speakers across media and high-visibility platforms. She also led communications and economic development efforts within local government, aligning messaging with policy priorities and community engagement.
